These pictures were taken at a fete a few hundred meters from our house on Sunday. We didn’t stay long as we had friends coming over, although it was pretty good and the weather was fantastic.

Although the picture to the right is a bit unfortunate, :), the story is that Ivy walked up to the window as I was leaving the house to take a picture of Scarlett on the trampoline. She walked a good 6 or 8 steps and then planted her face on the window, I’ll think of it as a kiss, as only a Daddy can!

Early midlife crisis?

Due to moving office I had to get myself some transport; bought a nice car, 3 or 4 years old, it’s beautiful, immaculate.

The problem is that it’s jet black, Italian and has red leather seats, feels a bit like a cry for help don’t you think? Had the timing been slightly different I could have blamed the Wii Fit for the purchase; last night we tried it for the first time and it “calculated” that my true age was 52! Seems I have matured 15 years without realising it, humph, I may trade the Alfa in for a red Boxster and a bottle of Grecian 2000.

Who knew winking was this hard? For some reason this cracks Diana up every time, and boy does Scarlett know it!

Family car in getting fixed…

Diana didn’t want me to post this, but hey, it’s what’s going on… She had a minor bump on the road some time back, for which the other driver wanted $100 in cash for the damage, luckily our insurance company is picking up the $5,000 tab for the indelible mark left on our car by the brief meeting of metal! Expect to have our people-mover back shiny and new some time next week.

Ivy getting her water wings

Ivy has followed Scarlett into swimming lessons at 8 months, she’s loving being in the pool each Friday – I suspect she just likes the extra attention!
